Tel.: +90-312-4399596 The intraaortic balloon is the most commonly used support device during perioperative period of cardiac surgery. A rare complication after its use is entrapment. In this case-report we present a 70-year-old man who had undergone coronary bypass and needed intraaortic balloon support early in the postoperative period with an extraordinary complication.
